Our story begins when Vic and Ed were high school friends who both decided to become firemen, to supplement a fireman's pay, they formed V&E Tree Service, Inc. originally formed in 1972 as a partnership to provided residential tree service to the people of Orange. As their customer base grew, the choice was made to leave the fire department and make their business grow. They branched out to commercial and municipal contracting, public works but our foundations remains with the homeowner. Our office remains in the city of Orange although our crews service all of Southern California.

We are a state licensed landscape contractor (#654506 C-27,D49 C61), and we have several Certified Arborists on staff and who work on our crews.  With safety manage Eric Grouch on board, we have an outstanding safety record and long term union employees with little or no turnover.

 

We are a full service urban tree care organization. Specifically, we do landscaping services, including tree pruning, tree removal, planting, stump grinding, barrier installation, clear and grub of green waste, and we sell firewood. We are a “green” company and are proud of the fact that we recycle approximately 95% of our byproduct from tree work. As of September 1, 2007, V&E became the first official tree trimming company to sign with the Laborers International Union. Our employees are split between the Orange County Local #652 and the Riverside #1184.  As a member of the I.S.A., we at V&E Tree Service, Inc., feel it is our responsibility to help educate our customers, as well as the general public, in the proper care and maintenance of our urban forests.
